A Barlow lens doubles your telescope's effective focal length, so each eyepiece gives twice the magnification. You keep the larger eye lens and comfortable view of a lower-power eyepiece. The two-lens design keeps the whole field sharp for viewing and photography.

Key features

  • Doubles focal length (2×)
  • Two-lens, fully multi-coated design for sharp images across the field
  • Suitable for observing and photography
  • Removable Barlow cell screws into 1.25″ filter threads, eyepieces and T-adapters
  • In a standard T-adapter nosepiece it gives about 1.6× on a DSLR, which helps reach focus on some Newtonians and solar telescopes
